Rebe – Wine Hiking and Tasting A unique wine tasting experience awaits you amidst the vineyards of Ritten and Bolzano. On
Saturday, 24 October 2026, the winemakers of Signat and St Magdalena invite you to taste their finest wines along the scenic “Rebe” wine trail.
From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the winemakers will present their finest wines at five tasting stations – right in the heart of the vineyards where the grapes are grown. You can start your hike independently, either descending
from Polden, Signat or ascending
from Ansitz Waldgries in Rentsch. At both starting points, you can purchase chips for the tastings along the five stations and for the final aperitif at Ansitz Waldgries.
From 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, a festive finale awaits you at Ansitz Waldgries – with culinary delights, roasted chestnuts, and live music.
Relaxed and convenient arrival Public transport is warmly recommended. The starting point of the trail is easily accessible by
bus 165 (until bus stop Oberplatten), by
minibus 163 to Signat, or
City Bus 8 to Rentsch.
Free shuttle services are also available
from the train station Oberbozen and

Info on Route, Wines & Arrival The event “Rebe – Wine Hiking and Tasting” is organized in collaboration with the Bolzano Tourist Office and the Hoteliers- und Gastwirteverband, Ritten. The REBE Wine Trail Stretching between Signat and Rentsch/Bolzano, a themed trail of approximately 3.5 kilometers offers a unique way to experience the region’s rich wine culture. Along the route, hikers encounter 10 artistically designed installations by sculptor Filip Moroder Doss, which provide fascinating insights into the world of wine and introduce the 13 grape varieties cultivated in the area.
The trail descends gently from Signat through the vineyard hills, past a scenic viewpoint with stunning views of Bolzano, onward to the Loosmannhof, through the settlement of St. Justina, and finally down to the historic Ansitz Waldgries in Rentsch.
Covering around 500 meters of elevation, sturdy footwear is recommended.
