You can start your wine hike whenever you like—either at Polden in Signat and head downhill from there, or at Ansitz Waldgries in Rentsch and head uphill.
From 4 pm to 9 pm, a festive finale awaits you at Ansitz Waldgries – with culinary delights and live music.
Chips for the wine tastings at the five stations and for the aperitif at Ansitz Waldgries are sold at both starting points (Signat, Polden and Ansitz Waldgries).

A chip costs €2.50 · A tasting portion costs €2.50
You need the chips to taste the wines along the trail and for the final aperitif at Waldgries.
What do I do if I haven't used all my chips?
Chips that weren't used during the hike can be returned at both starting points (at Signat/Polden and at Ansitz Waldgries).
Do I have to pay a deposit for the wine glass?
Yes, you pay a €5 deposit for the wine glass at the start (Signat/Polden or Ansitz Waldgries). This will be refunded when you return the glass to the collection points.
Until when can I return leftover chips and the wine glass?
In Signat (Polden), leftover chips and the wine glass can be returned until 4 pm.
At Ansitz Waldgries in Rentsch, chips and the glass can be returned until the end of the aperitif.
