• Liability insurance: third-party liability insurance is mandatory for skiers.
• Helmet requirement: Since 1 November 2025, wearing an approved helmet has been mandatory in South Tyrol for all skiers, snowboarders and sledders, regardless of age. (Decree No. 119 of 8 August 2025)
• With the Südtirol Guest Pass (RittenCard, KlausenCard, Bolzano Bozen Card), you can experience the Rittner Horn anew every day: one free ascent and descent ride per day is included.
• Ticket Shop: Buy your ticket easily online and enjoy a 5% discount – no waiting, no hassle, ready to start your mountain adventure right away.
• Dogs require a ticket. Price: 4,00 € per ride.
• Day, multi‑day, and season tickets are personal and non-transferable. In case of weather-related or technical interruptions, operations may be suspended; tickets already purchased cannot be refunded.
• Group rates: on request, rittnerhorn@ritten.com

• Winter parking ticket: 96,00 €
• Discounted parking: when purchasing a ski pass at the ticket office, you can benefit from the reduced daily parking rate.

The piste rescue service in the Rittner Horn ski area is provided by the Ritten/Barbian Mountain Rescue Service in cooperation with the Weißes Kreuz/Croce Bianca.
The service covers the entire ski area, including all ski slopes, toboggan runs and winter hiking trails. The total costs of the service are covered by Rittner Horn Bergbahnen AG.
A €150 contribution towards rescue and recovery costs applies to each operation. The corresponding invoice is issued by Rittner Horn Bergbahnen AG.
In the event of a rescue helicopter operation, the associated costs are billed separately by the Südtiroler Sanitätsbetrieb/Azienda Sanitaria dell’Alto Adige (Health Authority South Tyrol).

Please note that rescue and recovery costs are generally covered by insurance policies, such as accident insurance, travel insurance, mountain rescue and repatriation insurance, credit card insurance coverage or annual membership of the Weißes Kreuz/Croce Bianca. We therefore recommend checking your insurance coverage in advance.
